One of the last ladies i met before taking off for Maui was Ginger McCabe, and she was holding the sickest, softest raddest fringed leather pouch i'd ever laid my eyes on. Now roommates with our photog+muse Amanda Leigh Smith, this custom motorcycle seat maker is launching a pouch line called New Church Moto. She learned the leather working +moto-trade from her dad, and now hangs out and creates badass quilted leather seats for all of those bearded, coffee drinking, flannel wearing custom bike boys in Portland ORE. 

She backs all of her cut-outs with vintage remnants from Oregon's cult classic blanket company Pendelton + hand-fringes each one. After obsessively carring around our own personal NCM pouches for the past 2 months, we have been dying to get our paws on a few of these badboys for the store. Going back and forth with snap+shots from her collection of leather scraps, we picked out 4 of our favorite styles including one new buttery-soft deerskin in a steely-dan blue that is to-die-for. The shoot takes us up into the foothills for a wintery cabin shoot with all our favorite Portland playmates.....Amanda styled the shoot herself pulling vintage digs from her own collection - (her closet would turn anyone into a sneaky cat-burglar) including our velvet SHLS Hendrix blazer.
